We wanted to take the time to address some issues and questions we have seen on the Forums relating to the Decorating Game. We want to clear up all of your concerns.
Decorating Game Breakdown
The main idea of the decorating game is to earn points that will help you reach the next level of decorating in your room and gain rewards. After you level up in your room you will receive new rewards and if you level up in multiple rooms you will receive more rewards.
From doing different decorating designs you will receive different bonus points. For example I got the Mix and Match bonus by placing 4 chairs in my room. I received 50 Points for doing so. After I gained enough points to reach the next level in my room I was rewarded with coins and YoPoints!
Many of you have asked what is the point? The answer is that this game gives you an added chance to receive rewards (Coins and level Ratings, plus more rewards to come) for something that you were already doing before - decorating your rooms!
Here are some Dev Hints to get more points Decorating your Room:
- Make sure to add new items and make changes everyday to decorate your room and earn a bonus!!
- Use multiple items from a category and use multiples of the same item 
- Use your freebies!
- Utilize items from the latest theme in game..
- Try putting your furry friends in your room
These will help you earn points to level up your room. Also for an added incentive try incorporating the photo game in your editing to get even more coins. When you have a party thrown for you for leveling up - take a picture and get bonus coins for having so many people in your picture!
Room Ratings
These have temporarily been removed from game while we make some adjustments and improvements to them. Your feedback has been a big part of the new changes to Room Ratings. Many players noted that at times players or groups of players would rate their room down just to be mean. We never want a fun feature to be used to abuse others, and due to your feedback on this issue we are removing the rate down option.
Loading Issues
Since the end of last week we have seen a rise in reports from players experiencing loading issues with either not being able to change rooms, clothing, or gift others to saving their rooms to freezing or lagging, etc. We are working to isolate this issue for those players and trying our best to get this resolved for you all as quickly as possible. We will continue to keep you updated on any changes and appreciate your patience while these loading issues are addressed.
